Beginning at the centre, this beret is worked in rounds and is seamless. The glitter-effect yarn adds a bright note and is used only at each end of the scarf, making it comfortable to wear with a daytime outfit.

NB. Although the beret is not for a beginner, the simple crochet stitch makes the scarf a good project for someone learning to crochet.

Materials: Debbie Bliss Rialto 4-ply 5 x 50 g ball (180 m/197 yds) 003 Black; Twilleys Goldfingering 2 x 25 g ball (100 m/109 yds) 38 Red, or colours of your choice. 3mm (US D/3) crochet hook.
