I remember when I was a child I had a blue sparkle bicycle with a banana seat and sissy bars (do you remember this?) and it had a basket on the front. I would carry my dolls, a book, sometimes even my lunch, as well as a thermos (from my lunch box of course, because this was way before someone thought to actually make a profit from bottling water from the sink!)

I have progressed to a beach cruiser, but I never have a place to put my phone or that darn water bottle, or my sunglasses, or my camera. So I decided I needed one of those baskets again and came up with this pattern. It is not overly large and does the trick.
