Crochet By Numbers is a squishy blanket that will keep you cosy even in the depths of winter.

Puff stitches are used with subtle shade changes to create a crocheted flower within each hexagon. Although puff stitches use a lot of yarn, it’s worth it for the resulting texture and warmth they bring to the finished blanket design.

CONSTRUCTION
Hexagons are worked over four rounds and half hexagons are worked over four rows. These are then joined together using slip stitches, before a simple slip stitch edge is added around the blanket.

GAUGE
Blocked size for hexagons is 12cm / 4.75” at widest part (point to point) and 11cm/ 4.25” at narrowest part (straight edge to straight edge).
