This stylish scarf is crocheted lengthwise. It is perfect for a yarn with a long stripe but would look equally striking in a solid color.

This pattern uses chains, half double, single crochets and skipped stitches.

This crocheted scarf was inspired by the knit version designed by Helen Gipson. The knit scarf is one of the most popular shop sample patterns in our yarn shop. But so many crocheters were crestfallen when they realized it wasn’t crochet, I decided a crochet version needed to exist. Thank you to Helen Gipson for permission to use her scarf as inspiration.
