Crochet Christmas Baubles
This pattern is written using UK terminology.
Stitches which may be used;
Ch – Chain
Mr – Magic Ring
St - Stitch
Dc – Double crochet
Inc – increase (two dc in one st)
Dec – decrease (dc two stitches together)
Tc – Treble Crochet
Htc – Half Treble Crochet
BLO – Back loop only
Sl st – Slip stitch
Bobble Stitch – 4tc in one stitch
3dc-dec – dc three stitches together
FO – finish off
For these patterns I have used;
Stuffing (Fiberfil)
Hook – 3.5mm
Needle
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Twine (for the hanging loop)
Reindeer – Brown DK for the bauble and ears, Dark Brown DK for the horns, small amount of red DK (for nose), small amount of black embroidery thread for the eyes. I have added some plastic holly to the horns but this is optional.
Santa – Red DK, Black DK, Gold/yellow DK.
Robin – Red DK, Dark Brown DK, small amount of yellow DK for the beak, 9mm Safety eyes.
Sprout – Green DK, Googly eyes.
Christmas Pudding – White DK, Dark Brown DK, I have also added some plastic holly to the top, this is completely optional. You could crochet some holly or even cut some out of felt.
Snowman Bauble – White DK, Black DK, small amount of Orange DK, 9mm safety eyes.
