You can sit down, decompress and create a tree with scraps of yarn within 15-20 minutes.

Bellissimo Merino 8; 100% Australian & New Zealand Extra fine merino wool; 50g/1.75oz; 125m/137yds; Light #3/ DK weight (8 ply)

Circus Tonic Handmade Jubilee Sock; 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon; 100g/3.5oz; 424m/464yds; Super Fine #1 Light Fingering weight (3 ply)

Fiddlesticks Finch; 100% non-mercerised cotton; 71g/2.5oz; 109m/119yds;
Medium #4 Aran weight (10 ply)

Louie and Lola Merino Silk Cashmere; 70% Superwash Merino / 20% Silk / 10% Cashmere; 100g/3.5oz; 400m/437yds; Super Fine #1; Fingering weight (4 ply)

Malabrigo Sock; 100% Superwash Merino; 100g/3.5oz; 402m/440yds; Super Fine #1/Fingering weight (4ply)

Yarn amounts required:
Small sized Tree including trunk in similar weight yarn:
Light Fingering: 8m (7.65yds)
Fingering: 8m (7.65yds)
DK: 12m (13yds)
Worsted: 14m (15.3yds)

Finished size: this will depend on your tension, hook size and yarn chosen & of course how large you make the tree! The following are 12 rows, Height measurement not including trunk.

Circus Tonic Handmade Jubilee Sock; Light Fingering 3 ply weight: 4.5cm (1.8in) across x 5.5cm (2.2in) high

Louie and Lola Merino Silk Cashmere; Fingering 4 ply weight: 5cm (2in) across x 6cm (2.4in) high

Bellissimo Merino 8; DK 8 ply weight: 7cm (2.8in) across x 8cm (3.1in) high

Fiddlesticks Finch; Worsted 10 ply: 8cm (3.1in) across x 9cm (3.5in) high

Hook size:
3.5mm (US E-4) with Light fingering (3 ply) or Fingering weight (4 ply)
4.5mm (US 7) with DK (8 ply)
5mm (US H-8) with Worsted (10 ply)
