This tutorial for this desk tidy or storage pot is a very simple and extremely practical pattern which is ideal for beginners who would like to try expanding their knowledge with new stitches, such as the magic circle or working around the post of a stitch. It is also incredibly easy for you to personalise this pattern to suit you.

I used roughly half of a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in ‘Parchment’ with a size 6 hook. You will also need an empty plastic bottle, scissors, stitch marker and double-sided sticky tape.
