Crochet Duggy the Fir Tree is a sucker for accessories, hence the star headband & Santa hat.

Duggy ‘s body is crochet in a spiral, with the trunk & eyes made separately & sewn on. The example is crochet with various worsted weight (8 or 10 ply) wool yarns on a 3.75 mm hook, but almost any correct yarn/hook combination could be used. Crochet Duggy is approximately 10 inches to the top of the hat, but the finished measurements will be affected by choice of yarn and hook size.
