Crochet Fish Shaped Water Balloons
A twist on the latest crochet trend:
Crochet Water Balloons that look like Fish.
This project is pretty simple, but requires the knowledge of the following techniques:
-Magic Circle*
-Chain
-Slip Stitch
-Half Double Crochet
-Double Crochet
-Double Crochet 2 Together
Note: If you are uncomfortable doing a magic circle, you can simply chain 2 and slip stitch into your first chain, then complete the first round inside of it.
Another note: If you want to make them look like regular water balloons, just stop before adding the fins.
I used Bernat Blanket Stripes for this project. You can use any Bernat Blanket Yarn. I wouldn’t suggest using another kind of yarn, as it is the texture of the Bernat Blanket yarn that gives the balloons such absorbent properties.
