This pattern is for a large crochet 5 petal one layer flower. I love this because it is really a “statement” type of flower. It is great for attaching to hats or headwarmers, but I designed it especially for use on purses, particularly little girl purses.
I have used worsted yarn here with an “I” hook, but I encourage you to try other sizes of hooks and types of yarns to get some really unique and fun looks! In the intro video on the blog, you will see 3 different types of flowers made with different types of yarn!
