Gloves are worked flat sideways from the wrist up to the fingertips, shaping each finger as part of the glove. A front is made, then a back, connected to it. You will fold the halves over at the side. Hands and fingers are seamed at the side.

Cuffs are worked after seaming the hand. They are worked in joined rounds, but also turned at the end of each round.

The crochet stitch is a textured stitch that alternates working in the back loop and working through both loops, then reversing in the next row to get an effect like seed stitch in knitting.
