Create your own adorable little hippo in just a few hours! This easy-to-follow pattern includes one PDF file with detailed instructions on how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make this little hippo.

Only basic crocheting skills will be needed: chain, single crochet, increasing and decreasing.

Materials needed:
Crochet hook size: G/4.00mm
Worsted weight yarn: light gray, white
Note: The gray yarn pictured is called “Gentle Gray” made by Stitch Studio by Nicole
Yarn (also called tapestry) needle
One pair of 12 mm safety eyes (also called shank back eyes; they are sold at Etsy, Walmart, your local craft store, Amazon, ebay, etc.)
Note: The safety eyes are highly recommended! But they can be substituted with black buttons or yarn if you prefer
Polyester fiberfill stuffing

The finished hippo measures 6 inches tall.
