Create your very own little hummingbird amigurumi with this crochet pattern!

Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Required skills: This pattern includes instructions to crochet a low-sew hummingbird, or to crochet a hummingbird in waistcoat stitch (video support included). This pattern may be challenging for a brand-new crocheter, and requires skills including chains, slip stitch, single crochet, increases, and decreases.

When using similar materials (worsted weight yarn), the hummingbird will measure about 7.5 inches across and 6.5 inches tall. The pattern calls for acrylic worsted weight yarn in green, pink, and white, and a small amount of gray, as well as two safety eyes of your desired size. The size of the finished item will depend on the tension, yarn, and hook you use. You can crochet this hummingbird from any yarn, but will you need to adjust the hook size if using a different size yarn.
