This is a particularly attractive pattern worked in a soft leaf-green. The special crochet stitch employed gives the effect of knitting, and is shown in the firm band at the hip line, while the body of the jumper is in a lace-stitch. The neck adapts itself to individual requirements, and the little sleeves are bewitching.

MATERIALS REQUIRED.-2oz. Paton’s super 3-pIy (eau de nil) for hip-band, and 4½oz. Paton’s super 2-ply, same colour, 0 steel hook. (Any preferred colour can be used.)
