This pattern makes a crochet kidney about 1.5 inches in length (14 rows).

I have found that I need less than one skein of the embroidery thread per kidney. If you want to make these into earrings, you will need earring posts/findings/etc.

I chose color 814 for my project for a deeper magenta, but there are plenty of reds that would work great!
