You can crochet two different stuffed koala toys with this pattern: koala boy with crown and koala girl with furry ears and headband with rose.

Only basic crocheting skills will be needed to make this crochet bear pattern: slip stitch, chain, single crochet, increasing, decreasing and double crochet. More difficult skill (crochet jacquard), I show in details in the video of this pattern. But you can crochet with one color and don’t change colors in the body.

MATERIALS:

• Yarn for body, head, ears, nose and paws (Weight category 2: Fine, Type Sport, 5 ply, 12 wpi). I use Alize Cotton Gold (55% cotton / 45% acrylic; 361yd/330m; 3,53oz/100g), grey, white, black, yellow and peach or pink color, if you want crochet koala girl, you need furry yarn (I use YarnArt Mink 100% polyamide; 1,76 oz / 82 yards / 75 m / 50 g)
• Embroidery yarn (I use YarnArt Iris 100% cotton; 0,7 oz / 151 yards / 138 m / 20 g), black color and yellow for koala boy (or pink for koala girl);
• Stuffing materials (I use hollow fiber);
• Scissors;
• Crochet hook (I use 2 mm size and 1 mm for rose for koala girl);
• Needle.
