Crochet Lace Motif
This is a lovely crochet lace motif that works up very quickly &, once mastered, is easily committed to memory - ideal for shawls, scarves & wraps but also works well for shrugs, boleros, vests & tops.
Each motif can be made separately & then sewn or crocheted together… or, you can do what I do & join motifs as you go
The pattern includes:
~ the motif pattern & clear instructions to join as you go
~ both UK & US terminology
~ clear photos, stitch drawings & pattern diagrams (charts)
The size of your motif is determined by your choice yarn & hook – average size is approx 9 cm x 9 cm (3½” x 3½”) but will vary according to yarn/hook used
for the item in photos I used: 5 x 50 gram balls of 100 % cotton Thorobred scheepjeswol
– Granada – Hook Size: 6mm (US J)
