My ever popular gloves, best sellers on Etsy and Folksy and here you can make your own. These lovely shell pattern mitts will fit teens and women. Keeping you warm in a lovely soft wool or alpaca or for those summer nights in a cotton or linen.

This pattern is worked in the round until the thumb hole, then worked back and forth and then joined up again and worked in the round for the final few rows. No seams to sew…hooray..and just two little ends.

It uses approx two thirds of a ball of 4ply/Sport yarn and a 4mm /6 crochet hook.

Skills needed, dc, tr, ss and working in the round, which is really easy,

Skills learned, if you need to, shell stitch, chain loops, working in the round.

This easy yet satisfying pattern is a joy to work up and the pattern has been tested many times so hopefully it is now foolproof.

I just wanted to try making some lacy fingerless gloves, so I started to muck about with some lovely lilac yarn and a hook,…and a classic was born
