This is an easy and quick crochet ladybug pattern. The description includes two options for the finished toy. Small cute ladybugs will be a great toy for your baby. Size for small hands.

You can add a string and hang it in a stroller or car.
You can put a rattle or a squeaker inside the toy, so you get a rattle for the baby.

• Sport weight/4 ply yarn: YarnArt Jeans (160m/50g): black, red and white. Yarn analogue: Alize Cotton Gold Hobby 50g/165m, Alize Cotton Gold 100g/330m, Gazzal Jeans 50g/170m. The colors are at your choice;
• Hook size 2 mm;
• Safety eyes 8 mm;
• Needle for sewing and embroidery;
• Stitch marker or a thread of contrasting color (I use a thread);
• Scissors;
• Fiberfill;
• Pins.

Abbreviations:

mr - magic ring;
ch - chain (stitch);
sc - single crochet;
dec - decrease;
inc - increase;
sl st - slip stitch;
inc6, dec6 - repeat increase/decrease 6 times;
(n) - number of stitches in a row/round.
Extra (shift) stitch - when crocheting, most often the marker of the round beginning is shifted to the right side. In order to align the canvas, you need to crochet 1 more sc at the end of the round and move the marker one stitch forward. So the second stitch becomes the first and the first becomes the last. This stitch does not count when crocheting.
