Crochet Miniball Shawls
This pattern covers three simple shapes, a top-down triangle, a crescent, and a sideways triangle. Once you’ve done the set up rows you can carry on until you run out of yarn.
These are perfect to showcase a Miniball gradient pack (10x10g of 4ply) but they work just as well with any yarn. The sideways triangle you increase until you have used half the yarn then decrease, the top down ones can just increase until you run out. If you’re using Miniballs then I just hold the old and new colours together for a few stitches then there aren’t even any ends to join in.
The simple pattern makes it perfect for working on while watching TV or chatting, but the frequent colour changes keeps it fun.
Written in UK terms, the US terms are included in the abbreviations.
ERRATA for print version: Final instruction for Top-down Triangle should read 1 Tr into each of next 3 Tr. Turn (6 sts increased)
