This crochet slipper pattern is a beautiful basic design. I keep mine piled in a basket at the front door for company. They make a thoughtful take along gift wether you are visiting a friend in the hospital or need something to give a new mom. Enjoy!

Construction:

These slippers are constructed using the Half Double (HDC) crochet stitch pattern. They work up quickly, in one piece, from toe to heel. They are a great way to practice increasing, and changing from working in the round to working in rows seamlessly. So go ahead, expand your skills, and try something new.

The pattern uses a #6 super bulky weight yarn. Which is warm, thick and easy to work with. I recommend acrylic for its durability and ease of washing. These slippers will stretch to hug a foot, and return to their original shape with a turn I the washer and drier. Trust me, I have made loads!
