! You can use safety plastic eyes on your own, if you don’t want to crochet them. You can embroider them as well.


Crochet terms and abbreviations (US terms):
MR – magic ring
ch – chain
turn ch - turning chain
st – stitch
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
inc – increase
dec – decrease


Materials and tools:

  • You can use the yarn with about 100-130 m per 50 g;
  • 2.5 mm and 1.5 mm crochet hooks;
  • thin black and white yarn for crocheting eyes and embroidering highlights of the eyes;
  • pink yarn for embroidering a mouth;
  • stuffing - polyester fiberfill (hollowfibre);
  • scissors;
  • yarn needle (a blunt-tipped needle with a large eye) for sewing and embroidering;
  • stitch marker;
  • sewing tape measure (optional).

The size of the finished toy is about 25 cm (9.8 in), if you use specified or similar materials and tools.
