CUSTOMIZING YOUR SKIRT
It’s very easy to customize your skirt, work the chain stitches of the skirt size with the right hipwidth, then work the rows of the skirt which lenght you desire.
MATERIALS
Surf of Lammy Yarns 45% coton, 55% acrylic; 109 yd/ 100 m
per 50g ball; Color: multi brown: 22, 3, 3,4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9 skeins
1 US # 9 / 6 mm hook or other size to obtain gauge
1 tapestry needle
GAUGE
12 sc = 4” / 10 cm
5 rows of main pattern = 4” / 10 cm
USED ABBREVIATIONS
Chain stitch (ch): wrap the yarn from back to front around the shaft of the hook. Use the hook to draw the yarn through the loop on the hook – one chain is now made.
Single crochet (sc): insert hook in the center of next chain, yarn over, draw yarn through first stitch, yarn over, draw yarn through 2 loops on hook.
Double crochet (dc): Yarn over, insert hook in the center of next chain, yarn over, draw yarn through stitch, yarn over, draw yarn through first 2 loops on hook, yarn over, draw yarn through 2 loops on hook.
Slip Stitch (sl st): To work a slip stitch in a row stitches, insert hook under the top 2 loops of the next stitch, yarn over, draw yarn through stitch and the loop on your hook in one motion (slip stitch made).
