This snowflake would be a doddle for experienced crocheters & pretty straightforward even for absolute beginners.

I’ve used Sirdar Flirt yarn for these projects – it’s a DK yarn & is 80% bamboo, 20% wool mix. It’s good stuff for this project because it’s a little bit shiny & silky – nice and Christmassy. It’s also very easy to crochet & holds its shape really well. The finished snowflake measures around 6cm across.
