The Bailey Top is a spaghetti strap crop top, with an alpine stitch detail (no prior knowledge required). It can be done with either an open back or U-back.

PATTERN DETAILS
The top is worked top down, and for the U-back version the 2 back panels are worked in from the sides. 2 long chains are attached last to serve as the draw strings.

SIZING AND MEASUREMENTS
XS (S,M,L,XL)
Width (neckline): 8.75 (9.5,10.25,11,11.75”) = 22.2 (24.1,26,27.9,29.8cm)
Width (bottom of front piece): 17.25 (18,18.75,19.5,20.25”) = 43.8 (45.7,47.6,49.5,51.4cm)
Length: 9” = 22.9cm (customisable)

MATERIALS
4mm crochet hook
DK yarn
• 100-150g/180-270m (open back) OR 150-200g/270-360m (U-back)
• Crochet gauge: 10 x 10cm = 17sts x 10 rows dc
• Any kind of DK yarn is suitable for this pattern, however I recommend using natural fibers such as cotton and bamboo for a good weight to your top.
