This pattern does not contain basic crochet lessons, and you have to know crochet terms and what is crochet in a spiral.
The pattern is written:
- in US crochet terms;
- for right-handed.
Crochet terms and abbreviations (US terms):
MR – magic ring
ch – chain
st – stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
trc – treble crochet
sl st – slip stitch
inc – increase
dec – decrease
Materials and tools used in this pattern:
- yarn „Alize Cotton Gold” (55% cotton, 45% acrylic; 100 g / 330 m)
Yarn consumption:
Gray (# 21): ~ 32 g
White (# 55): ~ 11 g
- 2.5 mm crochet hook (for crocheting the toy);
- 1.5 mm crochet hook (for crocheting the eyes and the heart);
- stuffing - polyester fiberfill (hollowfibre);
- scissors;
- yarn needle (a blunt-tipped needle with a large eye);
- stitch marker;
- any thin yarn with approx such weight and length: 100 g / 452 m (for a 1.5 mm crochet hook): - black and white - for crocheting the eyes and embroidering the eyebrows; - pink / peach color - for embroidering the nose and the mouth; - red - for crocheting the heart.
The size of the finished toy is about 28 cm (11.0 in), if you use specified or similar materials and tools.
! The bunny doesn’t stand on its own, but sits, leaning on the tail.
