This pattern is available for free.

My examples show the red pair to be 0-6 month size, the self striping pink, purple, white pair to be 6 mo.-12 mo. size and the navy blue pair to be 12 mo. - 18 mo. size.
These are completely done in the round beginning at the top of the mitten and ending with the ribbing. Very quick and easy to make up and would be a super donation item for your local charity.
