I wanted to create a dress that could just be slipped on without having to do extra finishing work to add Velcro or snap closures.

Also, I did not put a hook size because I tend to crochet tightly. I used an I hook to get the gauge, and I think that for most that would be too big. So I would advise checking gauge before starting.
