Crocheted Boys Hat
From the pattern: “This hat can be many different styles. … Without the brim, it is a beanie hat; crochet a curved brim on the beanie hat for a baseball cap. With a small brim it is a dress hat; with a large brim it is a cowboy hat. … You can mold it to fit a variety of girls styles also. This hat will be quite easily shaped to the preferred style - then starch it … to harden it.”
The sizes given are for Ken-type and Ricky-type 1960s-era dolls.
