Who doesn’t love Puma’s, cougars, mountain lions, or whatever you are used to calling them?
They’re proud majestic animals. Often a mascot for schools, organizations and a favorite animal for many.
Now you can crochet your own! The finished plush will be close to a foot in length and about 8 inches tall.

Skills required:
single crochet
double crochet
chain
slip stitch
Puff stitch
sc decrease
sc increase

Tools and supplies needed for pattern:
Scraps of black and white felt
Stuffing
1.5 inch wide button (If you use stiff enough yarn you can omit this)
Plastic safety eyes (16mm)
Size F and G hooks
Large eye needle for assembly
Black and White or invisible thread
Needle
Pipe cleaner for inside of tail

Worsted Weight yarn in the following colors/amounts:
Black yarn (15 yards)
White yarn (10 yards)

Bulky Weight Tan Yarn (3 oz)

The pattern has pictures to walk you through and steps you may not know how to do such as the needle sculpting used to make the toes.
I’d recommend this for the intermediate crocheter but if you can do the stitches you can make this guy!
