Crocheted Dress for 11½" Teen & 18-20" Bride Doll
The published name of this pattern is too long to be accepted by the Ravelry system. It is: Crocheted Dress for 11½“ Teen Doll & 18 to 20” Bride Doll
This dress has two sizes and two variations. The materials for the sizes are:
11½“ Doll - Less than 1 ounce of pearl cotton and #2 crochet hook. Gauge: 7 sc per 1 inch.
18-20” Bride doll - 2 ounces of knitting worsted and #G hook. Gauge: 4 sc per 1 inch.
The dress may be made to open in the front or the back. For the back-fastening version, the skirt will be sewn from the bottom to the waist and the bodice will fasten with hooks and eyes or a zipper.
For the front-fastening version, a row of sc will be worked around the front opening edges, adding buttonholes. The dress will button all the way down the front.
Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure (in inches): 5.5/3.125/5.
Or a Bride doll with the following measurements: Bust: 8-8½, Waist: 6 -6½, Hips: 7½ - 8¼
