Crocheted Freedom Trail
Worked from side to side using one skein of fingering weight yarn, the pattern features a short row section worked in V-stitch mesh, bordered by a column of post stitches before transitioning into a repeating leaf and shell pattern. This shawlette is a crocheted version of “Freedom Trail”, the knitted shawlette designed as a special promotion for the 2015 Greater Boston Yarn Crawl. Original sample is worked in Anzula Squishy, and what a beautiful, luxury yarn it is!
Designed to be a fingertip-to-fingertip width, it is easy to customize the size. As designed the shawlette is approximately 72” x 11” when blocked.
Designer: Mary Westland, aka Aunt Zany
