Worked in the round, the Crocheted Goodin Cowl features a shifting spike stitch pattern bordered with a textured rib. Stripes of solid or color-changing yarns add to the visual motion of the pattern.This is the crocheted version of the knitted Slipped Stitch Goodin Cowl.

This is an Intermediate Level pattern, the crocheter should be able to read his or her work when changing among various stitch combinations.

Gauge:
FLsc worked in the round using Rowan Pure Wool DK and Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool Light, 20 stitches x 28 rows = 4 inches/ 10 cm

Achieving exact gauge is not critical in this pattern; however, if you are working more than 20 stitches per 4 inches, consider increasing your starting count in order to achieve a minimum of 20 inch (50.8 cm) circumference. Recommendations for stitch count adjustments for gauge of 18 to 23 stitches per 4 inches and a circumference of 20, 22, and 24 inches are provided in pattern.

Blue tone model is worked in (MC) Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 Sport color 9543 Navy and (CC) Noro Silk Garden Lite color 2080. Finished Dimensions: 21 inch circumference by 7.5 inches (53.3 cm x 19 cm).
