Materials:

For all yarn version:
•3 colors, any 4-ply Acrylic Yarn (such as Red Heart), approx. 2.5 oz. each color)
For yarn and jute version:
•1 color, any 4-ply Acrylic Yarn (such as Red Heart), approx.. 2.5 oz.
•Approx. 260 feet 3-Ply All Natural Jute

For both versions:
•Size H/8/5 mm steel crochet hook
•Yarn needle for weaving in ends
•1 Gallon Sized freezer bag (Press to Seal type)

This hanging planter is actually a tube, with holes appropriate for inserting plants, as well as the top. Similar to the bag planters you can buy at garden stores, but extremely durable, and can be used over again unlike the garden store varieties that are only good for one season. Strap is worked separately and sewn on.

You can make as long as you like, and embellish with whatever flowers you like as well.

Easy pattern, but thicknes willl tire your hands easily, so give yourself plenty of time to work on it! it is worth it in the end when you plant your flowers and not only have beautful blooms, but something decorative you made yourself that will last years.
