I posted 2 versions of this pattern. The first is worked in Half Double Crochet for a flatter finish. The second is worked in a Front Post Half Double Crochet for a ribbed look.

You will need a plastic shower curtain ring for the ring holder. You can buy a set at Walmart or any discount store for about $1. It doesn’t matter what color ring you have because you will be crocheting over the ring and it will not be visible except where it snaps together.

You can use either acrylic or cotton yarn for these hot pads.
