This is a pattern for a crocheted lampshade cover. The piece is worked then saturated in fabric stiffener. The lampshade is covered in plastic wrap then the crocheted cover is stretched over the shade and smoothed down against the shade. When it is totally dry the cover and plastic film are removed and the crocheted shade is brushed with a stiff brush to remove excess residue. Then it is placed back over the shade. It is worked in basic crochet stitches and is very easy and quick to make.
