This jumper is designed to fit a 6-month-old baby. I have included instructions on how to make the lining for the hood and pockets, But these are optional and can be left out if you would prefer.

You will need:
A 4mm crochet hook
3 x 100g balls of dk yarn (or 5 x 50g balls)
A darning needle (or similar)
A fat quarter of cotton fabric
Sewing cotton to match your fabric
A sewing machine (optional)
A regular sewing needle
A 30 cm open-ended zip
White ribbon and black or dark blue sewing cotton (optional)

The gauge has been done using a sample made by following the pattern used to make the jumper.
This involves rows of sc, ch1, skip1, where for each row you crochet into the hole made by the ch1, skip1 on the previous row.
