This pattern includes separate instructions for worsted weight yarn like Red Heart or Vanna’s Choice (2 skeins of Vanna), or Super Bulky yarn like Lion Brand’s Thick and Quick (1 skein). N and L hooks are needed for the bulky yarn.

I would say this is an advanced beginner pattern. Experience working in the round is helpful.
