The dress is made flat in one piece, seamed at the shoulders and part way up the back. A placket is left at the top of the back seam, edged with single crochet and fastened with three button-and-loop closures.

The pattern includes the belt.

Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”-3.125”-5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
