Crocheted Tarot Box
To create this box, you will need to have:
- 2 balls of size 10 cotton thread as the main color (you will work with two strands held together as one strand)
- 1 ball of size 10 metallic or secondary color for embellishments (you work with one strand of this)
- 1 size 4 steel crochet hook
- safety pins (for marking corners)
- 1 large eye needle to weave in ends of thread
- 2 plastic-covered Styrofoam blocks (one cut in the appropriate 3” X 5” size to act as a mold for the box and another block that is approximately 1/8” larger to mold the lid)
- rust-proof pins
- 1 sponge or paint brush
- commercially-prepared or home-created starch for stiffening.
