This summer I was able to intern in a thyroid cancer research lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. When the program concluded, I crocheted everyone their very own life-size thyroid as an appreciation gift! You too can crochet this thyroid for a human anatomy project, for your favorite neighborhood thyroid surgeon, or for National Thyroid Awareness Month (which is January in case you didn’t know)!
