The crododile’s body is worked flat using the intarsia method and is joined at the centre back with a row of dc. The arms are also worked flat
The head is worked in the round and the eyes are worked separately and sewn in position.

The stitches used are double crochet, half trebles, double crochet two together and slip stitch. A crafter with intermediate crochet skills should have no trouble with this pattern.

In addition to two shades of DK you will need toy stuffing for the head. A small amount of yellow yarn either 4ply or 2 strands of DK for the eyes. Black and white embroidery thread for the mouth and teeth and the pupil in the eyes.
