This adorable hat was inspired by and designed to match the Crocodile Booties pattern by Bonita Patterns.

The pattern includes a short photo tutorial for the crocodile stitch, and a link is provided for a more detailed tutorial.

Alternately, you can purchase the downloadable, pdf version. The cost is to offset the advertising revenue that is lost by downloading/printing the pattern rather than visiting the site.

Based on user feedback, I have updated the pattern on 11/6/15 to increase the overall sizing, and to also increase the difference in sizing between the 3 sizes.

If your gauge comes out to the right width (stitches / inch) but not the right height (rows / inch), you can easily adjust the depth by adding or subtracting a couple of extra rows as needed to the main (post stitch) section of the hat.
