The finished crocodile measures 23cmx30cm approx when made with a 4mm hook and DK weight yarn. The project is ideal for intermediate crocheters, or beginners looking for a challenge. It would make a great birthday or Christmas gift, for both children and adults! It’s a lot of fun to make and can easily be crafted in a weekend.
For this pattern you will need:
Yarn: DK weight yarn in lime green, emerald green, pink, white and black (less than 100g of each)
Hook: 4mm
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker
Scissors
Pins/safety pins
Toy Stuffing
You will need to one familiar with the following terms (US):
Ch- chain
SS/Sl St- Slip Stich
SC- Single Crochet
DC- Double Crochet
FO- Fasten off
Magic Ring
Colour Changes
Increase by doing 2 Single Crochet in 1 stitch
Decrease/Sc2tog by joining 2 Single Crochet together into 1 stitch
St- Stitches
RS- Right Side
WS- Wrong Side
