After researching free tutorials which are readily available online, I have interpreted and adapted the video tutorials into a written pattern to make a simple scarf. The idea of this scarf pattern is to familiarize yourself with the stitch so that you may be able to incorporate it into other projects. Please see the link in the pattern for one such (free!) video tutorial which is very easy to understand and to follow along. I suggest having your yarn and hook at hand so that you can practice with the video and then follow my written instructions. Enjoy and happy stitching!
