Crocogator Scarf
Warm, whimsical Crocogator Scarf is made with Aran crochet posts & bobbles to give the look of back scales.
Make with either matching yarn for trim, or use a slightly different shade, as in the scarf pictured here.
Difficulty level: Experienced, or nimble newbie!
Materials:
♥ worsted weight yarn
-------- green: 125g (Med. Thyme)
-------- white: scraps
-------- black: about 24” (60cm)
♥ crochet hook, size J-10 (6.00mm)
♥ stitch marker to mark end of Rounds
♥ yarn needle to weave in ends
Stitches used: slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet, and back post double crochet.
Instructions are given for special stitch, hdc5tog
