Crocus is a soft, warm and refined garment.
The floral shapes of the yoke recall the petals and pistils of the wonderful winter flower from which we were inspired and from which the pattern takes its name.
It is a top-down, circular yoke sweater. Gradual increases are made in the yoke up to the sleeves that will be put on hold onto holder or scrap yarn and then resumed later.
This way there will be no seams.
The yoke is made up of a single chart that contains the increases.
The yoke is embellished with a refined lace stitch motif with bobbles.
We used the wonderful “Fine Lace” yarn in alpaca and merino together with a silk|mohair yarn both from Rowan.
The two yarns together give a delicate melange effect and an elegant look.
Crocus comes in 12 sizes (from 85 to 182 cm 33.5 to 71.6“ bust circumference).

Circular needles 3.5 and 4 mm / US 4 and
(cables 40, 60 and 100 cm 16, 24 and 40“ )
Cast on the neck with the shorter cable and then switch to the longer cable as you increase stitches. Use 60 cm 24” for sleeves.

Crocus è un capo, soffice caldo e raffinato.
Le forme floreali dello sprone ricordano i petali e i pistilli del meraviglioso fiore invernale dal quale ci siamo ispirate e da cui prende il nome il modello.
Questo modello è lavorato in tondo dall’alto verso il basso, si inizia dal collo e si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. Non ci sono cuciture .
Nello sprone si segue un unico schema che contiene gli aumenti, lo sprone è impreziosito da un raffinato motivo a traforo con gettate, accavallate, 2 insieme e noccioline.
Abbiamo usato il meraviglioso filato “Fine Lace” in alpaca e merino insieme ad un filo di mohair seta entrambi di Rowan. I due filati insieme regalano un delicato effetto melange e un aspetto elegante.
Nel pattern sono disponibili 12 taglie (da 85 a 182 cm di circonferenza busto), la guida alle taglie e la tabella a pag.3 ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.

Inizia dal collo con il cavo più corto (40cm) e poi aumentalo gradualmente mano a mano che aumenti le maglie nello sprone. Usa il cavo da 60 cm per le maniche e il capo 100 cm per il corpo
