A crofter will need warm and practical mittens to carry firewood and shovel the snow from the stairs. Crofter´s Mittens are worked in a simple colourwork pattern which makes the mittens warm and quick to make. To achieve a perfect fit, the thumb is worked with a gusset. The pattern is constructed in three sizes corresponding to small, medium and large women´s size. Match your mittens with Crofter´s Socks in the same colourwork pattern!

The Crofter´s Mittens pattern is published as the Seasonal Club pattern for October at Nordic Knitting Society.
