This pattern is part of Coastal Path Knits, a collection of ten knitting patterns inspired by England’s East Anglian coastline. See this thread for more information about these patterns.

Cromer on the north Norfolk coast is know for its Victorian pier and crab fishing. Cromer has a long maritime history and today you can still watch the fishing boats being pulled on to the beach in the mornings. The Cromer hat is inspired by the ropes and baskets used on these boats with it’s twisting cables that flow up the hat to it’s eye-catching crown.

Pattern has both written and charted instructions.
