Cromulent Shawl
Cromulent is one of my favourite made up words… Although aren’t all words made up? Cromulent came from ‘The Simpsons’ and is a very fancy sounding word that means ‘adequate’ . The rather simple pattern of just two repeating rows, with a built in puff edging, is perfectly cromulent. This is an easy rated pattern, written in both UK and US terms. (separate PDFs avaliable)
Finished Measurements:
Width (at final row): 50cm (19.7inches)
Length: 154 cm (60 inches)
Pattern can be increased or decreased in length to personal tastes, and would look lovely in any favourite fibre.
520 m of Scheepjes stonewashed used in example,
aswell as 700m of Garnmanufaktur Lola
Puff Decrease method is detailed in Abbreviations section.
PDF pattern designed and written.
